Copa America 2019 campaign: Chile promotes its snow and wine attractions throughout Brazil

Chile is organizing two novel interventions in Brazil during Copa America 2019. The first is a simulated ski center on Ipanema beach in Rio de Janeiro and while the second is a bus branded with images of snow and wine that runs through the streets of Sao Paulo.

Chile is organizing two novel interventions in Brazil during Copa America 2019. The first is a simulated ski center on Ipanema beach in Rio de Janeiro and while the second is a bus branded with images of snow and wine that runs through the streets of Sao Paulo.

These marketing actions seek to greatly promote the destinations and tourist experiences of Chile in the two cities of Brazil that attract the most tourists to Chile. These will make “La Roja”, the Chilean soccer team, present not only on the soccer field, but firstly on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro and in the form of an ice bar inside a simulated ski center that is surrounded by snow, and secondly through a bus that will run until July 7th through iconic spots of Sao Paulo like:

  • Shopping Market Place
  • Mercado Municipal CP
  • Allianz Parque
  • Shopping West Plaza
  • Top Center Shopping
  • Shopping Iguatemi
  • Shopping El Dorado
  • Shopping Bourbon
  • Shopping Villa Lobos

Chile’s eye-catching international tourist promotion action seeks to take advantage of the excitement created by Copa America to promote the beauties of Chile abroad. The project invites the national tourism industry to join this campaign with the hashtag #Descubraumnovoinverno in its social media and actions the street, to jointly leverage the arrival of new tourists to our country.
