Artificial snow, a new snow grooming machine, a renewed ski school, new restaurants, stores and services areas are part of the updates La Parva Ski Center is preparing for its visitors.
“We are ready to greet all winter sports fans. For them we have big news, events and activities prepared for families and skiers visiting us during the season”, says Thomas Grob, La Parva Ski Center General Manager.
Among this year’s news, La Parva visitors will find there is a renewed space at the Golondrinas area (school), where a new Tourist Information Office will allow visitors to program a ski day, travel a minor distance, rent, buy tickets and join the school, all in the same place.
On the other hand, the traditional night fireworks show and torch downhill will be held again. Also, since the season collides with the soccer Copa América 2019, we will have special activities related to this sport event. We can also remark that we will continue with the FIS contests, National Freeride dates (Junior and Senior), special events for the Children’s, Father’s and Environment’s Days celebrations, and different activities thought for the little ones during their winter holidays, among others.
During low season, tickets prices at La Parva go from CL$12000.- to CL$35000 pesos, while during high season (weekends, holidays and the July 8th until August 16th period, ticket prices go from CL$12000 until CL$49000.- pesos.
On April 7th summer season closed in La Parva, marked by the starting dates of the Enduro and Downhill National Championship, the highest Bike park of South-America keeps reinforcing itself as one of the best spots to practice MTB on the capital. Now the job is to inspect and keep the center facilities for the Winter season getting closer.
