With the imposing Torres del Paine in the background, the AdventureNEXT Patagonia Chile event, a unique showcase for International Adventure tourism, was carried out successfully this 2022, hosted by Chile.
It took place between September 12th-14th in the Magallanes Region. More than 50 buyers participated in this important meeting as well as specialized international media, who covered the event. In addition, the event brought together important buyers and exhibitors, and 40 local suppliers looking to internationalize their offers.
Regarding the work sessions, more than 800 meetings were carried out, with the objective of professionalizing and expanding the adventure offer.
AdventureNEXT Patagonia Chile 2022 had a special feature: the tour for the attendees organized by the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and Sernatur Magallanes was done by implementing a carbon neutral strategy.
The event organization could also count on the participation of the Asociación de Hoteles y Servicios Turísticos de Torres del Paine (HYST) (Association of Hotels and Tourist Services of Torres del Paine) and was co-financed by the Magallanes Regional Government.
Some of the attendees in AdventureNEXT Patagonia Chile 2022 were the Undersecretary of Tourism, Veronica Kunze; the Acting National Sernatur Director, Beatriz Roman; the Magallanes Regional Governor, Jorge Flies; the Presidential Delegate in Magallanes, Luz Bermúdez; and the Seremi of Economy, Ruth Saieh, among other authorities.
