Chile needs your support in the “Oscars of Tourism” South America, where we are nominated in several categories thanks to our incredible destinations.

The World Travel Awards (WTA) are often referred to as the “Oscars” of the travel industry, due to their importance and global reach. Now it is the time to choose the best destinations and services at regional level, and of course, Chile is competing in several categories in South America.

From “South America’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination” to “South America’s Most Romantic Destination”, in 2023 Chile is going for everythingbecause our country has some of the most captivating landscapes in the region and the world.

How to Vote for Chile in WTA South America 2023

You can vote and help Chile in these nominations until July 9th. Remember that the tourism industry’ votes count for two.

  • If you do not have an account, click on Register, add your data, your password, and log in again.
  • When you have voted in all the categories you want, you will be ready.

Take into consideration that in order to verify your votes you must have confirmed your email address.

Previous awards

In the regional competition, Chile won three major awards last year: “South America’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination”, “South America’s Most Romantic Destination”, and “South America’s Leading Destination 2023”.

These are definitely three of the most important awards in the competition today and help to attract attention to some of our main destinations, such as Torres Del Paine or the Atacama Desert.

In order to achieve good results once again against major competitors such as Brazil, Colombia or Argentina, it is important to continue to make progress in the development of our tourism and, of course, to vote for our country.
