Chile has been crowned for five consecutive years as the Leading Adventure Tourism Destination in South America by the World Travel Awards, also known as the Tourism Oscars. And now it is in the race for the world title, a challenge that has our country competing with tourist powerhouses like the United States, New Zealand, and Australia.
This tremendous challenge is added by Chile’s additional nominations to World’s Leading Green Destination, and the Desert of Atacama as Most Romantic Destination. These honors catapult our country as a Latin American leader in tourist attractions across different interests and markets, positioning itself as a must among travel lovers.
In view of this, and in order for Chile to defend its crown as Leading Adventure Destination while, for the first time, earning titles in the categories of Green and Romantic Destinations in this popular voting competition, the Undersecretary of Tourism and SERNATUR call on the Chilean tourism industry to join efforts to push Chile to the summit of WTA 2019.
To this end, public institutions have made a free, downloadable voting kit available. The kit contains advertising pieces for social networks, direct voting buttons, and editable logos for the different categories in which Chile is nominated.
