The latest edition of the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) fair, which took place between November 28th and December 2nd, 2022, in Austin, Texas, concluded with the successful participation of Chile.
This event was held in the presence of 900 travel industry professional representatives and had a big agenda, including training, talk sessions and more than 40 one-to-one meetings.
In this context, Chile was presented as a destination among America’s most renowned operators gathered at JW Marriott Hotel in Texas.
In addition, the main screen of the event displayed photos of Chile and its tourist attractions, such as lagoons, mountains, fjords, and other wonders.
The importance of USTOA fair for tourism
The USTOA fair is one of the most relevant in the world because it allows for access to travel industry leaders and people representing the top US-based travel companies whose annual sales volume is over $11 billion.
It has symposium sessions for all members to let them know about the North American travel market and the latest trends in the industry, presenting interesting case studies, new tools, and thought-provoking tactics.
For their part, active members receive the opportunity to learn about new destinations, hotels, and other travel services provided by associate members.
On the other hand, associate members have an opportunity to interact with top executives from worldwide tour operators on a one-to-one, buy-and-sell basis, and build really meaningful partnerships that can take their business to the next level.
